Dante's Hope Sneak Peek #Excerpt! #PRN #Psychics #Romance

COMING SOON!

A curse, a vision, and a secret.

With a flimsy piece of evidence and a Psychic vision, “Miss Butterfly”, crashes the Reyes Brother’s charity fundraiser hoping one of them believes in curses. She has a devastating secret and they may be her last chance to get answers.

Fearing the affliction haunting him is tied to the alluring woman roaming through his library, Dante agrees to help her, fighting the powerful attraction building between them.

Together they scour centuries’ worth of myths and legends, determined to find the truth. Neither is prepared when they discover their intense connection may be the key to breaking the curse.

EXCERPT:

Perched on the second story walkway, overlooking the crowd piling into the oversized dining hall, Dante Reyes sighed, unsure how many more of these events his brother would force him to organize and attend before the end of the year. While he enjoyed supporting worthy causes, hopping from country to country for the last eight months was wearing him thin. Grateful to be back in one of their homes for an extended period, he watched the couples of Psychics and nulls filling his home, wondering how many of them were native to London. The city had changed so much in the ten years they’d been gone.

The air sizzled with building energy. Hoping the effervescent and happy vibe bouncing through the room soothed him for a few hours, Dante shut his eyes and breathed in to absorb and charge his body using the energy below.

Drake busted through the double doors behind him, breaking his concentration. “There you are.”

“Here I am,” he replied.

“Last one, okay?”

He glanced back and lifted his brow. “Do you mean it, brother?”

“Yes, okay, yes. Such a grumpy immortal you’ve become.”

“We are not immortal.” He grumbled, turned, and stared at the crowd, ignoring the decorative blue Colombina mask floating next to his face. Drake chuckled and Shifted it closer, honing the skill quicker than he had. Dante swiped the mask from the air and fixed it in place, aware the coloring drew attention to his eyes.

“Your best feature, my man. ‘Cuz your attitude is trash.”

“Forgive me for tiring of meaningless interludes with a string of overzealous participants.”

“Casual. Sex. It’s not that hard to say, and you know that’s not why I do this. Just a perk. Maybe if you didn’t talk like the stuffy old goat that you are people would stop calling you one.” He slapped a hand on Dante’s back.

New Release from USA Today Bestseller @JodyAKessler! #Pychics #Romance

Check out the New Release and Excerpt from Author Jody A. Kessler!!

Diving Elise

Elise Martinez wished her date with destiny didn’t include being run off the road by the most caring, handsome, and intelligent man she’d ever met.

Moving to Granite Lake to manage a bookstore and coffee shop meant Elise could finally leave her haunted past behind, but being a psychic mom to a deaf child has its benefits and downfalls—and her guarded heart isn’t ready for a new romance.

Rob Everett never imagined giving up corporate law to open a brewery with his brothers in Granite Lake would begin with a car accident and the arrival of a surprise baby.

As if being a single dad and starting a new business weren’t challenging enough, Rob can’t get the beautiful, mysterious, and feisty bookstore manager out of his mind.

For Elise and Rob, falling in love is a complicated, sexy, and emotional enterprise.

Mix in a baby, a haunted brewery, craft beer, and a dangerous ex-husband into this recipe of love and their future isn’t as easily divined as the fates would have foretold.

**A steamy, fun, stand-alone novel with a happy ever after.

Excerpt:
“If we do this, I need you to make me a promise,” she said and leaned back so she could look him in the eyes.

“What is it?” he asked, the hint of challenge gleamed in his pale irises.

“You can’t ask me out tomorrow or act like you own me or anything else possessive. We can have tonight and no promises afterward.”

“You want a one night stand with me, Elise Martinez? Should I feel used or honored before we even do the deed?”

“You’re using me, too. It’s mutually beneficial.”

“I guess this is happening, then,” he said with that irresistible half-smile, half-smirk that made her insides quiver and her toes curl.

“Yes, it is,” she said and slid her nails over his taut stomach toward his beltline.

Rob stroked his fingers over her chest and up her neck until he cradled her jaw. He tilted her face up, firm, yet delicate in the way he handled her. He forced her to look at him again before she could lower his pants and find out what the rest of him looked like.

“Are you sure about this, Elise?” he asked.

She stilled, breathing in the moment, staring back into the most incredible eyes she’d ever seen and nodded against his cupped hand. Elise turned her face into his hand, then tasted his finger with a stroke of her tongue. A hint of cinnamon lingered on his skin. He gripped her tighter for the second it took to bring his mouth back to hers.

His tongue delved in. His mouth captured hers. Possessive. It scared and thrilled her.

“Jesus, I like kissing you,” he whisper-hissed when he came up for air. He moved to the pulse point below her jaw. “We should move this to the bedroom.”

MIND: The Reckoning
Baldwin Bates has only wanted one thing since joining MIND, to take care of his friends and keep them all safe. While the Meta-Alien Investigation and Neutralization Department is busy monitoring an emergence of human psychic and alien activity, Bates takes his first solo assignment searching for a woman who claims to see the future, only to botch it up and let her get away.

After helping to destroy an alien device called the Transcender, Lexa Quinn wakes from a two-week coma a very different person than she was before. While her abilities grow stronger, her feelings for Bates begin to interfere with the MIND team's mission, putting everyone at risk. Secrets from her past threaten the present and future, forcing Lexa to decide who she is and where she belongs.

When a powerful, ancient enemy lays claim to the Earth and brings his judgment upon the population, Bates, Lexa, and the entire MIND team must do whatever it takes to save the human race before the reckoning is complete.

Excerpt:

As Bates bypassed the crafters and artists, the scent of Asian BBQ wafted through the air. He grumbled along with his stomach and hoped a few of them stuck around so he could pick something up on his way out.

"How’s it going?" Dina Ranger asked via his earcomm, jolting him.

"Shit! Forgot I had this bloody thing in," he replied, taking a breath and shutting his eyes for a second.

"Have to get used to it if you want to be in the field...alone."

"Unlike your brother, I need some me time, Sherlock." This time, he chuckled when he felt her brush his mind with calming thoughts. "How’s Lexa? Any change?"

"No, nothing. Never changes. I...just don’t get it."

"Me either," he said with a sigh, quickly putting it out of his mind to maintain his focus. "I just got to the park. I’ll check in before I leave."

"Okay. And whatever has you so hungry bring some back. Talk to ya."

Shaking his head, Bates waited for the static of the comm to fade before pushing farther into the park, eyeing the tables and tents, but mostly their occupants, searching for a face. Miss Takashi had a pretty face, although older now, since the photo from the collective Meta-alien Investigation and Neutralization Department database was almost one hundred years old.

When he neared the end of the first row of vendor tents, he took in the sight of the city across the river, and then found the second and final row of vendors left to search.
He politely declined several offers to purchase various items like candles and potholders, wondering why his ‘blah face’—a term his new friend Kim called his usual stern façade—wasn’t working.

Toward the middle of the second row, Bates slowed, eyeing a colorful booth, shrouded in light purple curtains, and a sign that screamed for attention. When a face-painted toddler, followed by a frantic parent, came running out of the booth, he barely sidestepped out of the way. The parent offered Bates a weary shrug. He nodded politely and carried onward, finally seeing a sign for "Madam Takashi" two booths down.
