Pop!

No, still not writing. The ideas are floating in my head, but nothing is sticking. I won't write without a solid character and plot. Sucks, but that's the way it is.

I received two more rejections in the last two weeks. One had some feedback, helpful, but not much I can do to change the scope of the story. Beside, only three chapters were read. I'm not changing my whole story based on feedback of three chapters. Though, I did appreciate them! The other was a simple form rejection. Bleh.

I have a small list of outstanding responses from agents and editors. However, I can't sit on it anymore and need to resubmit. I have a few places and people in mind, I just need to buckle down and get to work. Finding time, ah, that's the key.

I had a writing life but not social life.

I get a social life, and now I have no writing life.

Not easy to balance. I certainly don't envy you writers out there who have families. I don't think I could manage that right now. Okay, maybe if I give up TV I could, but then where would I get my ideas? lol

Regardless, TV season is almost over. My fave shows are getting to the goodie goodie parts and I'm really excited to see what happens on 24 and LOST. Heroes kinda disappointed me, but I'll live. Fringe got picked up for season 2! Not sure about Terminator:SCC, but I've got my fingers crossed.

I promised myself I wouldn't watch any new summer TV shows, but Glee really looks cute! And it's about singing! One of my weaknesses. Grr. But I won't watch it. I won't! I have So You Think You Can Dance Starting at the end of the month. I can't do anymore. I'll never get anything done!

Ah, the sacrifices we make. :-) Though, cutting out TV is far from any real sacrifice.

I went to see Wolverine this weekend. No Spoilers! But I will say...eh. It was good, not great. Hugh looked fantastic, in better shame than the first XMen movie. Liev did an amazing job. The Gambit guy sucked. Plot was eh. Fighting kicked ass and the special effects were outstanding. It looked like he really had those claws.

Yes, I'm DYING to see the Star Trek movie. I promised ex-roomie that I would watch it with him. We're trying to figure out where to meet and when. I don't want to wait too long, because all my Trek friend will be talking about it shortly after.

The other few movies I want to see in the theater: Transformers 2, Terminator, and Harry Potter. I think one or two more might be on the list, but I'm not sure.

I will NOT be going to see The Land of the Lost. Sorry. It looks ruined for me. Granted the TV show was campy and silly, but it wasn't a comedy. The trailer makes it look like a comedy. No thanks.

What I really want is a Voltron movie. Or how about Jem and the Holograms? Smurfs live action? Nah, just messing. But it could be interesting!

What old TV show or Cartoon would you like to see as a movie?

Do tell, Jenn wants to know.

What if they re-did Wonderfriends? That's what I remember watching all the time.
You don't watch Mad Men? If not, you really are missing out. It come back in July and is a quality show w/ excellent writing. I couldn't get into fringe and haven't watched Lost all season. It's saved on my ex bf's TiVO for me. I have Damages finale still to watch. Gotta love TiVO.

Hey there!

Thanks for finding me! I like having friends! Yay.

Okay, my pitch sucked, but thanks for the super nice comment.

I see he did yours. Just so you know, I "got" moral assassin. If I was going to be one, I would be like Lucky. Here is a question for you. Are all three books about Lucky (i love romance series they are great!)?

Keep writing. Don't stop! Lol. Unless of course you get stuck like me in the "ratings week" of TV.

I am curious about starting a "critique group" maybe for initial reads? Just a thought...

Enjoy your blog. Thanks for the work you do on it!

Oh, and I would have to agree with Smurfs or Jem.

Grey's still has me (yep, i am hoping it pulls out).

Hi Jenn, Your Interest for Indian movies inspired me to watch a few but I would say that rather than the movies you named there are other classies too like Corporate, Life in a metro which are a must watch.
